Volunteers are an essential component of Valley Montessori School’s daily operations and governance. They play a key role in our children's education by sharing their talents and skills in a variety of ways. Time and expertise contributed by parents is essential, and much appreciated by the staff, children, and administration of the school.

All of our fundraising events, large and small, run successfully because of the collaboration between room parents, chairpersons and staff. Volunteers also provide a backbone of support promoting community-wide participation through a network of communication.

Historically, VMS Volunteers have been innovative and responsive to the needs of the school while using our mission as a guide for all activities. We encourage all of our families to participate however they can with the many happenings at the school. At the beginning of each year, a Volunteer Opportunity Form is circulated.
