Celebrating 40 Years!
In preparation for our 40th anniversary, we embarked upon a year-long process to revitalize our school from the inside out. With the Board of Trustees, we’ve created a new Strategic Plan that maintains our core values, ensures excellence in our programs and keeps us focused on maintaining relevance in an ever changing world.
In addition, we’ve introduced our refreshed school logo along with a newly designed responsive website that is user friendly from any mobile device, plus provides us with increased search engine optimization, to help people find us faster.
To celebrate this milestone year, we will be hosting a series of fun events and activities:
- Share your VMS story! We want to hear how VMS has influenced your family over the years. Send your submissions to 40years@vmschool.org. New families, feel free to send in your first impressions of VMS too!
- Please join us in celebrating this milestone year at our upcoming Harvest Festival & 40 Year Celebration! Friday, October 7 from 3:00pm-7:00pm
- Children will celebrate the 40th Day of School, October 17, by describing their vision of the future of our school and seal their predictions into a VMS Time Capsule!
- 40 Days of Fun Facts – Every week we will share a fascinating fact about VMS!
