Below are the results of our Stanford Achievement Tests (nationally normed). They are an impressive affirmation of the academic success of our students in grades 3 – 8. We administer the test to 2nd grade students as well; however, since it is their first year taking the test, we do not report those results.
It’s important to know that we do not teach to these tests and, of course, they only measure a small slice of what children learn here at Valley Montessori School.
Attributes not measured which we find equally important include:
leadership, collaboration, compassion, respect for others, kindness, peace-making, independence, creativity, intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of their own talents and interests.
