An Independent School Providing Excellence in Education

Toddler

The Toddler environment is more than a mere classroom, it is a home away from home for children ages 18 months to 36 months.

Upper Elementary

Each day, the students create their schedule of the day which includes daily activities such as math, spelling, language arts and cultural activities.

PreSchool

Our early childhood classrooms are designed to meet the ever changing needs of the three to six year old child.

Middle School

Middle school is intended to simulate the richness and diversity of life outside its walls, providing students with academic, practical, life, and social opportunities that encourage the development of the whole person.

Lower Elementary

In the Elementary program at VMS, the students learn and develop skills that they will use throughout their academic and professional life.

Enrichment

All students take part in Art, Spanish, Physical Education and Music classes, with options like Math Club, Yearbook class, music, Yoga, Wood Shop, Book club, Musicals, a variety of sports clubs and Running club.

Admission Process

Come discover why Montessori classrooms invite, excite, and immerse young learners. Witness the fostering of independence, leadership, grace and courtesy in our classrooms.

Accredited Montessori education with VMS  offers our children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life.

Tution Assistant Fund

Please consider contributing to the VMS Mary Ellen Kordas Tuition Assistance Fund. If we all unite, we can build a fund for the ages. Long ago a fellow Montessorian told me that if you ask in the children’s names it will not be hard.
