AaLeiyah DeSimas has spent many years as a Lead Behavior Interventionist who strived to implement Applied Behavior Analysis techniques with children who have learning differences. She holds a Behavior Interventionist Certification from Building Connections Behavioral Health. Her work consisted of creating equitable learning environments in the home and within a Kindergarten classroom of Oakland Unified School District. AaLeiyah is currently pursuing a degree in Human Development with a focus on Gerontology from California State University – East Bay. AaLeiyah is a former Connecticut College Women’s Basketball player and enjoys introducing the sport to her two children. She currently completing her Practicum in Montessori Primary Education through the Montessori Teacher Education Center.
