AaLeiyah DeSimas has spent many years as a Lead Behavior Interventionist who strived to implement Applied Behavior Analysis techniques with children who have learning differences. She holds a Behavior Interventionist Certification from Building Connections Behavioral Health. Her work consisted of creating equitable learning environments in the home and within a Kindergarten classroom of Oakland Unified School District. AaLeiyah is currently pursuing a degree in Human Development with a focus on Gerontology from California State University – East Bay. AaLeiyah is a former Connecticut College Women’s Basketball player and enjoys introducing the sport to her two children. She currently is completing her Practicum in Montessori Primary Education through the Montessori Teacher Education Center.
