Isabel Castillo has a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from Mexico, as well as Montessori Training credentials from the American Montessori Society (AMS) and American Montessori Institute (AMI). Isabel has 10 years of experience working in Montessori environments, teaching in bilingual groups of English-Spanish. Isabel joined VMS in 2022 as a Primary teacher in the Redbud class. In the 2022-2023 school year, she will return to her passion for the Spanish language as an elementary specialist teaching Spanish to Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary children. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, basketball and painting.
