JILL THOMPSON

Jill received a B.S. degree in Fine Arts from Valparaiso University and studied art history in conjunction with the National Gallery in London and Cambridge University. She also holds a teaching credential from San Francisco State University. Jill started at VMS in 2014 as the Elementary and Middle School Art Teacher. She is passionate about inspiring students to unlock their own intuitive genius and challenging them to do more than they think they can do.  She is the curator of our Annual Art Show that celebrates her students’ use of different media and techniques including sculpture, drawing, painting and digital art. Jill loves camping in the redwoods, kayaking, hiking and exploring the U.S. on car trips with her husband, 2 sons and dog.
