In 1976, Valley Montessori School opened its doors with one classroom and six eager primary students. I am grateful to Beth Marshall, a Montessori teacher and founder of VMS, for realizing her dream to deliver the very best quality Montessori experience for children in the valley. This vision is still alive and has grown from that one classroom to a flourishing school with over 400 students from 18 months through 8th grade!
The responsibility for maintaining and enhancing the quality and strength of VMS rests in the hands of former, present and future members of the VMS community who are the beneficiaries of its past and guardians of its future.
